Syd got glasses for the first time in her life, and we picked them up yesterday. She put them on and smiled, saying "Hey, I can see stuff." Her vision isn't too bad, but enough that they help her. Being a 13-year old girl, she's not happy about having to wear glasses, but at least she found some cool ones.

I'm jealous! I could never get away with fun frames like that... Just responsible, conservative ones for me. You look great, Syd! You may not feel it, but you'll get used to them and they won't be a big deal anymore. I really do know how it feels... You can ask your mom or grandma about how I dealt with my glasses in middle school. :o)
Okay, and one more thing... Those glasses make you look even older. Twenty-ish? Crazy!
I have to agree with Chelsi, those glasses make Syd look quite a bit older.
