Mad Scientists

Emma and Maddy got to attend a "Wierd Science" birthday party where they had a contest for the best Mad Scientist Hair. I had a little fun with it. Hooray for Aqua Net and the blow dryer!

Emma won the prize for the best hair!

The truth is that this isn't such a far cry from what Maddy's hair looks like in the morning!

Gardening Ups and Downs

I was so excited last Saturday because I got my garden completely planted! I planted pea and bean seeds, and zuchinni, yellow crookneck, and tomato plants. I have kept everything wet and even put Miracle Gro on. Well, apparently I got a little carried away with the Miracle Gro because every single plant I put in the ground is DEAD. Guess we'll try again tomorrow...

I'm Hooked

I attended my first ever yoga class this morning, and I loved it! I left feeling very relaxed - not tired; just calm. I was wondering how it could be a good workout though, until a couple of hours later and then again throughout the day when I would move my arms or legs a certain way and realize I had really worked my muscles. I can't wait to go back next week!
